As 2024 comes to an end, it’s time for me to recap the top 10 posts of 2024. These are determined by the total number of page views from you, my supportive readers. Thank you again for reading my little blog, and I hope to share more yummy eats in 2025 with you.
Here we go!
10. Ooey gooey butter cake – I made this for my dessert party this year, and it was a huge hit. The best way to showcase these snack-sized desserts is to fold them into some vanilla ice cream. Trust me on this.

9. Oatmeal raisin cookies from Thomas Keller – I haven’t made these in a while, but oatmeal raisin cookies are probably my second favorite cookie (next to chocolate chip, of course). This is definitely the BEST recipe for oatmeal raisin cookies.

8. Sourdough discard cinnamon raisin bread – Cinnamon raisin is my favorite bread flavor, and making it from sourdough discard is definitely an added bonus.

7. Hawaiian mango bread – I wish we had Hawaiian mangoes around here because I’d make this bread all year round.

6. 6 egg yolk lemon curd – I love this recipe because it can be used in so many things – or even eaten directly from a spoon. Try it on your French toast, your layer cakes, or even on vanilla ice cream.

5. Italian ricotta cheesecake – My sister-in-law shared this recipe from her Italian grandmother, who got it from a(n Italian) friend, so it seems authentic. This is a popular holiday recipe!

4. 4 egg yolk brioche bread – This is a wonderful sandwich bread and makes an even better French toast!

3. Basque style cheesecake – This crustless cheesecake is a great way to have your cheesecake, but without the hassle (and mess) of a crust. It’s a great way to have cheesecake if you’re gluten-free!

2. Sourdough discard focaccia – This is definitely one of my favorite ways to use up sourdough discard. We usually turn the focaccia into panini-like sandwiches.

1. Small batch blueberry cottage cheese muffins – With little mess and not a lot of cleanup, no wonder these were the most popular!

See you in 2025!
