Adult 21+ Junior Skating Skills – First Runthrough

One of my goals for 2025 was to get my Adult 21+ Junior Skating Skills test-ready. As part of that preparation, my coach had me do a full runthrough (including videoing the whole thing in case it was good enough to turn in for a virtual test session – spoiler: it wasn’t).

After watching the video, my coach and I decided that this was a good first attempt, but not one that should be submitted for a virtual test. I needed to clean up some of the edges, work on extensions and presentation, and skate more confidently throughout.

One of my judge friends also gave me some helpful feedback. She said that this particular runthrough was borderline passing, so it looks like we’re getting close!
