Last week, I traveled to Chicago for work. As I always do, I researched rinks near my hotel before my trip. I found one that was only an 8 minute Uber from downtown. Better yet, the 2-hour freestyle session was only $12 for 2 hours!! Insane! (As a comparison, my home rink charges $15 for 30 minutes)

Fifth Third Arena is the official practice facility of the Chicago Blackhawks. The facility was gorgeous (at least 2 ice surfaces) and clean. I only stayed for an hour to practice because I had to get back to my hotel and prepare for work. I’d definitely come back though!
