Rink Rabbit Ambassador

If you are a regular Eva Bakes reader (thank you!), then you will know that I travel for work. I often take cross-country flights and spend a lot of time in the Bay Area (San Francisco). When I visit San Francisco, I almost always bring my skates, but they take up a ton of room in my suitcase. I never check bags unless it’s absolutely necessary, so I usually travel with a backpack and a carry-on.

When I put my skates, skating clothes, and skating accessories (like tights, hard guards, gloves, and a portable skate backpack) into my carry-on, I barely have enough room for anything else in the suitcase. However, I once was able to squeeze in a week’s worth of winter clothes in there! It was not ideal, so I wanted to find another solution.

During a skating competition, I ran into a friend who was carrying a Rink Rabbit backpack. My bestie K and I asked her how she liked it, and she gave a raving review. After we returned home from the competition, I made the decision to purchase one.

I took my new Rink Rabbit backpack on its inaugural trip to San Francisco. On that trip, I was able to fit a pair of skates, all my skating accessories, a laptop, laptop charger, work notebook, a 32-ounce water bottle, and other work items into the bag. Oh, and everything fit underneath the seat in front of me on the plane! I had so much space in my carry-on bag that I didn’t know what to do with myself.

The backpack has been with me to San Francisco and back at least 5-6 times. It’s also gone with me to Las Vegas for a work trip, up to Delaware multiple times, Charlotte (twice), and across the Atlantic to Iceland, the UK, and to Italy (I did not take my skates on those trips). And after all these travel adventures, it still looks brand new.

My friends at Rink Rabbit graciously named me one of their Ambassadors! If you are interested in purchasing one, simply click on my link or enter coupon code “doublesalchow” (without the quotation marks) and you will receive 10% off your order. I do earn a little bit of a commission when you use my link, and that money is used to support this site.

If you’ve purchased a Rink Rabbit, let me know how much you like your bag!
