Holiday Show
This week, we only had our second rehearsal for the holiday show trio. We normally begin our rehearsals in the September/October timeframe but due to adulting (yes, that is a valid excuse), we didn’t start until the week before Thanksgiving.
Our holiday show is in the middle of December, and we’ve only rehearsed twice. I only cut the music in November, and we had to beg our holiday show mastermind (my head coach) to allow us in the show. She’s had to manage 50+ solo/duet/trio skaters already. We were giving her one more to deal with!
Because we are reusing several bits and pieces from previous programs, the choreography wasn’t too hard to piece together. We kept the same footwork from previous trio programs so it’s easy to remember.
Since we are planning on competing this in January, I’ll keep the music and theme a secret for now. But, if you take a look at the photo above, it should give you a little clue to what’s happening. 🙂
