Spin Clinic
Last week, my rink hosted a spin clinic with my Seattle-based spin coach, Kim Ryan. My bestie K and I have been planning this seminar for months. Sadly, due to my crazy work travel and global IT outages, I wasn’t able to assist as much in the days leading up to the clinic. I had to rely heavily on K to execute the details while I was traveling.
This year, we had about 30 participants, which was a lot smaller than last year’s crowd. However, we had a large adult skater contingency, so Yay for adults! Several of them traveled 2+ hours to participate.
All in all, the seminar was a great success, and skaters learned a lot from Kim. We also organized an adults-only dinner so we could each spend more time with Kim. A great time was had by all!
Hopefully we can host this spin clinic again next year, and I will be able to be in town for most of the planning and execution of it.
