Fabulous Forty

This week, I traveled to Henderson, NV for work. Very excitedly, I soon realized that this was the 40th rink where I have skated. Yes, I keep track! I have a Note on my phone that lists all of the rinks where I have skated, and it’s organized by state.

Henderson’s rink, called Lifeguard Arena, is gorgeous. There were two sheets of pristine ice, and I had private ice for about 30 minutes before a little girl and a little hockey kid came on for their respective lessons. The facility was spotless – even the hockey boxes were spotless!

This rink is where the Vegas Silver Knights play. Sadly, I didn’t get to skate at the Golden Knights’ arena since it was much farther away. However, I’m happy to have been able to skate in Henderson!

Looking forward to rink #41… wherever that may be!
