More Aggressive
When I was out in San Francisco, the coach that I was working with reviewer all of my singles jumps. He took a look at my waltz jump and commented on the scratchy entry (guilty as charged), the loss of momentum on my flip jump (toe pick!), and the lack of consistent timing on my salchow (yup). I appreciated how observant he was and loved that he could pinpoint things to improve my jumps.
Once we got to the axel, he said that my jump was nothing to write home about. So he challenged me to be more aggressive so that I can earn positive grades of execution. This was hard!

I did find out my aggressiveness resulted in more air time, so that is an improvement!
