Holiday Show 2022
Each summer, my skating bestie and I spend hours (days! weeks!) brainstorming ideas for our next trio. I invited her over to our community pool one afternoon and we got the juices flowing.
We have always wanted my pairs partner to skate to “Pretty Fly For a White Guy” and it’s never happened. Miraculously, we came up with a concept that not only used that piece of music, but also featured my pairs partner as the star of the show.
The premise is that my bestie and I are at an Elton John concert. We are excited and cannot wait to see Elton… when in walks my pairs partner. He is geeked out from head to toe and definitely is NOT what we expected. In the second half of the program, we de-nerd him and he becomes “Cool Elton” by the end.
While this isn’t quite the Walking the Dog program from last year, it’s still really fun to perform.
That was so much fun to watch! I especially loved when all three of you did a step sequence down the ice. You can tell that you’re all having fun skating, too.
