Novice Moves – Rocker Chocktaws
I’ve been working diligently at the Novice movies in the field and hope to test these at some point in the next year or so. One element that freaks me out is the rocker chocktaw move. I tend to keep my weight towards my heel, so that when I attempt the rocker, I flick my heel and almost trip.
Confession time: I hold my breath on these.
My coach gave me a really great exercise to help keep my knees and legs closer together after the chocktaw, and I think it’s working.
I’m not sure if these are close to passing, but at least they’re not quite as scary as they used to be.
Such nice flow, Eva! You don’t look nervous–and as long as you don’t out a scream, no one will know!
Haha – I love it! I can’t scream though because I’m holding my breath. 🤪
