Twizzles from Intermediate MITF

I took this video a few days before I tested my Intermediate Moves in the Field (MITF) test. Twizzles are probably going to always be my nemesis. For whatever reason, I have a very difficult time finding the middle of my blade. My body just wants to turn these into a spin so I end up closer to my spin rocker.

However, after months and months of practicing, they turned out like this.

I think it’s pretty obvious which is my comfortable way. I put a foot down on the first set of RFI twizzles by accident.

Although I will never be fully comfortable executing twizzles, these somehow passed by my judging panel. One even gave me a +1, which was the surprise of the day.

Those look good, Eva! I like your entry edges as well as the turns themselves–it’s nice to see the change from edge to twizzle rather than starting with a flat.

I actually think these twizzles are pretty bad!!! I’m not sure I would pass myself on this move, honestly. Oh well – they will always be a work in progress. šŸ˜„
