Competition Season
Adult competition season is upon us. The official deadlines for Adult Sectionals and Adult Nationals have come and gone. I am happy to share that I am registered for both. After taking a 2-year break from Adult Nationals, I am planning on competing this year in Newark, Delaware.
I am excited about skating at Delaware because that is the rink where I learned to skate. I took the ISI Learn to Skate classes at Delaware every Saturday morning. After passing through Freestyle 4 in ISI, I quit for a few years to focus on other things and came back as an adult.
As luck would have it, I also passed my Adult Gold free skate test at Delaware. It was a homecoming of sorts.
This year, I am registered for a local competition (coming up later this month), Adult Sectionals and Adult Nationals. After horrendous skates last year, I plan to redeem myself with good performances and high confidence.
I’m ready to show everyone what I am capable of!
You go Girl!
That is great news, Eva. It will be so fun to go to AN and feel at home on the ice there. I am excited to cheer for you from afar!

One of these days I hope to meet you in person! I will be YOUR biggest cheerleader!
Ah and I’m not going to Nationals this year, only Sectionals, so I won’t get to see you in person this time. Maybe next year when Nationals will be in Michigan– I plan to go if I can. I wish you very fulfilling skates!
