Holiday Show [Video]
I finally got a chance to upload our video from the holiday show! We had a blast performing this program. Surprisingly enough, we only rehearsed for about 45 total minutes (during public sessions) before we performed it. Our schedules were just all crazy in December and we didn’t have much time together. Thankfully, all three of us hammed it up enough to sell it to the crowd.
The first night’s show was a bit rougher because my partner (Forky) wasn’t able to see. He made his entire costume and used chemistry goggles for the mask. Since it was cold at the rink, the heat from his face fogged up the goggles and impaired his visibility. As a result, we missed the throw waltz jump so I jumped on my own.
The second night went better, as the throw waltz jump was on key. Regardless, the three of us had a blast!
Hope you enjoy.
Very fun! Thanks for sharing the video. You all looked terrific.

Thank you!! ❤️
That was so very cute, Eva! I loved the “Forky” costume–though imagining someone trying to skate with foggy vision is just a little bit scary. Glad you three had fun–fun watching you!

My pairs partner made that costume all by himself! He is so crafty!
I’m glad you got to do a fun holiday program with friends. As always, your spins are a standout!

Haha – you are too kind. It’s really difficult spinning with such a big hat on!
Props and costumes can make things surprisingly difficult!
