Difficult Spin Transition
My spin coach challenged me over text one day and asked me to try transitioning from a sit spin into a camel spin. WHAT? It’s hard enough doing the camel to the sit, but a sit to a camel sounded impossible. She sent me a video of one of her students executing it perfectly to give me some motivation.
Well, I got motivated all right. The next time I was on the ice, I attempted the spin, and then I added a few things.
While this spin has a really ugly transition, I was able to do it! Maybe with a bit more practice, I can make this look a little more pleasing to the eye.
